 Cristina Koen is, by profession, a freelance journalist, translator and writer, and by choice, an avid traveler and permanent expatriate.

At the ripe age of 25, her instinct has guided her through adventures in the most far-fetched corners of the world: from the Argentine Patagonia to the ex-soviet Republic of Moldova. These unusual experiences have always left her yearning for more, and have become the backbone of her writing ventures.

Her language skills have helped her to perpetuate her lifestyle and progress in the freelance translating business: she is fluent in Spanish, English, Italian and French, has a good level of Romanian as well as a "basic/survival" German skills.
